Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

As an internationally active and publicly trading company, Zumtobel Group AG adheres to the applicable national laws concerning humane working conditions and rejects any kind of forced labor, including child labor.

We also expect this from our suppliers. In order to meet this target, we obligate all our suppliers to adhere to our values and principles, which we have set out in our code of conduct.

So far, we have not become aware of any activities within our supply chain, which would indicate forced labor or human trafficking. Should we, however, become aware of such activities, we will react immediately and will introduce appropriate measures against the affected business partner(s), which shall be based on our values. These measures may include, for example, the termination of contracts and the claiming of compensation.

In order to meet the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, in the year under review we added specific procedures to our existing supplier audit program that is conducted on a regular basis. We expect the same from our suppliers in regards to auditing their own suppliers. Furthermore, we also updated the content of our compliance training, which our staff responsible for supplier management has to complete successfully on a regular basis.
