Ease of installation Glacier II - the neatest, easiest to fix and most comprehensive pendant to come on to the market for years. Pendants, like any other luminaires need to be installed effortlessly, with easy access to the control gear for maintenance purposes. With Glacier II this process can be carried out with great ease. Installation starts with fixing and wiring the adjustable quick-lock single wire suspension and pre-installed braided cable to the lightweight ceiling rose). When mounting height is increased the overlap between adjacent zones of illumination increases too, but ensure the correct balance - otherwise the language of lighting will contradict the language of the architecture. For access to the gear compartment the outer casing of the main body can be slid vertically with one hand and temporarily rested above the gear tray. When completed the sleeve can be moved quickly and efficiently back into place, completely concealing the gear tray once more. Finally, the reflector locates to the housing neck via a finger release bayonet-type connection – an audible click tells you when it’s secured in place.
