Thorn Lighting Let The KIds Play
In August of this year the 45th International Children's Games was hosted jointly by North and South Lanarkshire Councils. This was the first time that the world's biggest youth sporting event had been hosted in Scotland. A total of 1,300 competitors and coaches representing 77 cities from 33 countries worldwide had a great time competing and making lots of new friends during their stay in Lanarkshire for the International Olympic Committee-recognised 3 day event.
