Winners of Thorn Energy Partnership Performance League Table announced

The Thorn Energy Partnership (TEP) is delighted to announce the winners of the first Performance League Season, which ran from 1st September 2013 to 1st March 2014.

To recognise and reward some of the most successful Thorn Energy Partners, networks and energy saving schemes, six Performance League Tables were set up to encourage partners to record their project success on the TEP portal. Thorn Energy Partners projects were then logged and measured in the following categories.

The winners are as follows:

1. Biggest project (m2)

Nicola Cordioli of Tre Erre Impianti SRL in Villafranca di Verona, Italy. Nicola is a member of the Italian TEP Palladio network and is about to become a Gold Thorn Energy Partner. Nicola completed a 25,000m2 road lighting project in Villafranca.

2. Smallest project (m2)

Vincent Libert of Lesot SAS in Saint Laurent Blangy, France. Vincent is a member of the French TEP Nord network and is about to become a Silver Thorn Energy Partner. Vincent is a partner who focuses on the details, one of his 6 projects is a small 40m2 conference room, but is saving 205kg of carbon per year.

3. Partner with the most projects

Sonia Verbrugghe of Set Tertiaire in Saint-Pol-sur-Mer, France. Sonia has completed eight projects across northern France and is about to become a Silver Thorn Energy Partner. She is a member of the French TEP Nord network, which is the TEP network with the most projects on the portal.

4. Partner with the biggest carbon saving

Dorian Saunier of Degréane in Toulon, France. Dorian has achieved an annual carbon saving of 169t with just two projects in Toulon and Antibes. The bigger one, a retail project saves 148t carbon per year. Dorian is a member of the French TEPMéditerranée network and is also about to become a Gold Thorn Energy Partner.

5. Network with the most projects

TEP Nord based in France, completing a total of 20 projects. The TEP Nord network has 16 Thorn Energy Partners including: Franck De Beir, Sylvain Heddebaut, Eric Delhaye, Benoit Chollet, Fabien Herbaut, Marie Zaremba, Xavier Rossigny, Vincent Libert, Eric Mascart, Jean-Pierre Vitte, Nicolas Dufresne, Bernard Libersa. Sonia Verbrugghe, Pascal Verger, Laurent Druel and Jérémy Dumant.

Prize: VIP package for the entire network to Light+Building 2014 including flight, evening meal plus hotel accommodation for one night and fair entry

6. Network with the biggest carbon saving

TEP Palladio based in Italy, achieving a yearly carbon saving of 292,772.52kg. The TEP Palladio network has 16 Thorn Energy Partners including: Marco Garbo, Mario Scapin, Enzo Bellotto, Marino Zagallo, Davide Artuso, Simone Ceccato, Marco Bacco, Gianluca Rossi, Giampietro Rossi, Paolo Chiminello, Giovanni Fraccaroli, Marina Tenace, Nicola Cordioli, Igor Panciera, Giovanni Andolfatto.

Wolfgang Bernecker, Thorn Energy Partner and Business Initiatives Manager Sales at Thorn Lighting, says: "We created the TEP Performance League Table to recognise and reward our biggest achievers. The response has been fantastic.

"Over the last six months Thorn Energy Partners across the world have submitted 120 projects with a combined carbon saving of 1200 tonnes per year. Thorn Energy Partners from Italy and France have been particularly successful.

"The results were extremely tight. The competition was tough across all six of the Performance League Table categories so a big congratulations to all our winners, we look forward to seeing the competition grow next time."
